Music in Brian's life started at a very young age when his uncle, Tom Blood, taught him about playing the blues. In high school, Brian played in every music group that he could to feed his need for performance and the overall joy that music gave him. After studying several types of music styles and instruments, the keyboard and improvisation is where Brian excelled. He tried to further his schooling, but college was not for him. Brian started playing in his uncle’s band Tom Blood and the Blues Hounds when he was 18 and right away knew that this was something he could enjoy doing the rest of his life. Today, Brian and his uncle find themselves still together making great music that they both enjoy in a band that they love……The Bloodstones. Music in Brian's life is very special and he thanks bands like The Grateful Dead, The Doors, Phish, The Black Crowes, and many many more for inspiring him to do what he does today. True music comes from deep within’, so come see the true inside of his life and rock and roll!
