Tommy started playing piano at an early age, influenced by his mother. He moved on through many instruments, finding himself playing the guitar. Hitch-hiking to New Orleans with guitar in hand, he made his way through may bands ending up with Paul and the Pontiacs, who before Tommy, boasted Stevie Ray Vaughn as their guitar player. After the Pontiacs, Tommy made his way home to play with many bands such as Belladonna and the Lazarus Effect, which were 100% original bands featuring Tommy's music. After many other bands, he finally ended up with his own band, Tommy Blood and the Blues Hounds. Following the Blues Hounds, he ended up with a couple of crazy guys named Paul and Bob (eventually Brian) to form the Blood Stones. Tommy's guitar playing is heavily influenced by Johnny Winter, David Gilmour, Robert Johnson, and Jimi Hendrix, to name a few. He also enjoys free-lance recoring, exploring new sonic territory from the safe confines of his basement.
